Smart Alert saves a buyer's search criteria and keeps running it for you. On the schedule you choose, HomeXa checks new MLS listings against that criteria and emails your client the matches. You set it up once per buyer, and it keeps working in the background without any manual searching.
How often do my clients receive property alerts?
You decide per alert. Choose daily, every two days, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and set a start and end date so the alert activates and stops on its own. Clients get a steady flow of relevant listings without ever feeling spammed.
Can I review listings before they are sent to my client?
Yes. Turn on agent confirmation and every new match lands in a Pending list first. You approve or reject each listing — individually or in bulk — and only approved properties are emailed. Approved, rejected, and sent listings each stay in their own tab, and HomeXa reminds you when matches are waiting for review.
What is a Smart Zone and how is it different from searching by city?
A Smart Zone is an area you draw yourself on the map. Instead of a whole city or postal code, you outline the exact streets, pocket, or school catchment your buyer cares about, and only listings inside that shape trigger the alert — no irrelevant matches from the other side of town.
What criteria can I set on a Smart Alert?
Smart Alert uses the same filters as HomeXa property search — price range, property type, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the rest — combined with a Smart Zone or a list of locations. You can adjust the criteria at any time, and the next run picks up the change automatically.
Can I add properties to an alert myself?
Yes. Set the alert to manual and hand-pick properties from Property Search into your client's alert. It is the fastest way to put together a curated shortlist for a buyer you know well, while automatic alerts keep working for everyone else.
How do I know which buyers are actually engaged?
Clients mark listings as favourites, flag the ones they want to visit, and message you directly on a property inside their alert. That feedback comes straight back to you, so you can see who is actively looking and prioritize the warmest buyers in your pipeline.
Can the alert go to more than one person?
Yes. Add extra email addresses to any alert — a spouse, a parent, or a co-buyer — and turn on the option to send yourself a copy so you see exactly what your client received and when.
Does Smart Alert work with my Client Manager?
